What is Shorepoint Kids?

Shorepoint Kids is for kids from newborn-5th grade. We are committed to creating safe and fun environments where your children are taught about the Bible and the love of Jesus through relevant, age-appropriate kid’s services. Our ultimate hope is to see a generation of children come to know God at an early age. To do this we team up with parents to lead children into an authentic, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

(6 weeks - walking)

Nursery

Your little one will receive care in a safe and nurturing environment as leaders care and pray for them.

(walking - 3 years)

Toddler

Your child will enjoy playing and singing songs with their friends and learning a monthly memory verse while being loved and cared for by our leaders.

(3 years & potty trained – 5 years)

Preschool

From illustrated lessons to crafts, activities and worship, preschoolers learn about Jesus and the Bible in bite-size pieces each week.

(Kindergarten – 5th grade)

Elementary

Kids participate in worship, explore Bible stories, participate in fun activities and discover how to apply what we learn during small groups while building relationships with others.

Your First Visit

Welcome to Shorepoint Kids! We are so excited to meet your family on your first Sunday with us! Our team of trained, background-checked leaders will greet you and your kids and make sure your family is set up for a successful time with us.

Our team will get you registered, ask about any allergies or special needs your child may have, and get your contact information. Or you can fill out the new family registration online to save a few minutes when you check-in for the first time. Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code that will be used for pick up time. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, we will text you with the number you provide at check in. If you have any questions for our team, reach out to us at courtney@shorepoint.cc. We’re passionate about instilling the spirit of giving in our children and empowering them to make a positive impact in the world. Each year, we choose a special project to support, creating opportunities for our kids to live out this value in a meaningful way.

Church Wide Initiatives

Child Dedications

Jesus’ parents dedicated Him to God (Luke 2:22–40) when he was a child. With a heart to follow this Biblical model, we also offer the opportunity for you to dedicate your children. At Child Dedication, parents publicly commit to help their child grow in their faith and to raise them in a home centered on Jesus. Pastor Brian and Bethany pray over each family, and we have a gift to give each child.

Prior to dedicating your child, we ask that all parents attend a one-hour class where we will talk about the importance of dedicating our children to the Lord, the commitment you are making as parents, and answer any questions you have.
